The town of Burra is rich with mining heritage and most of it’s 1840’s legacy is still intact. The surest way to get the whole picture is to purchase a Burra Heritage Passport, which gives you instant access to see, hear and touch the past.
For an interactive experience, download the Discover Goyder app on your mobile device. Collect clues at each heritage site to solve the mystery ‘Who was Johnny Green?”
The Passport allows you access to eleven locked sites, including the Monster Mine area, Redruth Gaol, the underground Unicorn Brewery Cellars and the Dugouts.
Discounted entry to the Bon Accord Mine Museum during their opening hours is available with the Passport. However, please note that the museum is closed during the warmer months of January and February.

You can purchase the passport from the Burra and Goyder Visitor Information Centre during opening hours seven days a week.
